The “ReUz” Rubber Tile is an interlocking floor option made from eco-friendly recycled rubber. The name “ReUz” is a reference to the repurposed materials the modular flooring is made from – which primarily come from old, discarded vehicle tires. Like most nonbiodegradable waste, old tires take up space in landfills and harm our environment over time. The “ReUz” product line aims to reduce the waste in landfills and instead repurpose it into recycled rubber flooring like these interlocking floor tiles. Recycled flooring products help to reduce our carbon footprint, and their durability and affordable nature makes them perfect for virtually any application.
Since these rubber tiles are a recycled rubber flooring, they provide great protection and demonstrate excellent non-slip capabilities. Rubber absorbs harmful movements like abrasions, impacts, and even vibrations. Then, the movements are distributed evenly across the surface of the rubber tiles to greatly reduce – and sometimes completely eliminate – their force onto the sub-flooring below. This is perfect for protecting sensitive sub-floors such as hardwood, linoleum, or concrete. What truly sets these interlocking floor tiles apart from other modular flooring options, however, is rubber’s inherent slip-resistance. Rubber has a higher coefficient of friction than most flooring materials, which means it has a better grip on feet, shoes, and furniture. This feature helps prevent slips to keep you safely and securely on your feet.
The “ReUz” Rubber Tiles are the ultimate DIY flooring option. The edges of the interlocking floor tiles feature a unique, puzzle-like shape that is used to fit the tiles securely together. Modular flooring is ideal for workout mats, industrial flooring, and temporary applications because of how easy it is to lay down and pick up! Though we usually recommend using double-sided carpet tape to install recycled rubber flooring, these tiles can also be installed without adhesives to make removal even easier. The “ReUz” rubber tiles are 1/4-inch thick and available in 4 speckled color options.

Recycled Tire Rubber: | According to the EPA and the Rubber Manufacturers Association, some 290 million tires are discarded in the United States each year. Over 80 percent of these (about 233 million tires) are reused or recycled in some way. “ReUz’ Recycled rubber tiles are an initiative to recycle tires made by tire companies and reuse them in an application that can benefit from the less expensive raw materials. |
