The Goodyear Tire Fine-Ribbed Corrugated Rubber Matting is a durable no-slip flooring product with protective capabilities. These rolled rubber mats are made from a powerful synthetic rubber called thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), which gives the mats a competitive level of strength and resistance. Like most synthetic rubber materials, TPE is great for absorbing impacts and abrasions to protect sensitive sub-surfaces. Harmful movements are greatly reduced as they pass through the 3.5mm thick corrugated rubber, preventing any potential damage to the flooring below.
Another way that the Fine-Ribbed Corrugated Rubber Matting provides protection is with its durable, non-permeable surface. The thermoplastic elastomer material is solid and impervious to moisture, which means it does not allow room for the growth of harmful microbes such as rot, mildew, and mold. Furthermore, TPE synthetic rubber offers a moderate chemical resistance, which allows the ribbed rubber flooring to endure harsh, industrial environments. This also makes the corrugated rubber matting incredibly easy to clean, as it stands up well to most common household detergents.
The most notable feature of the Goodyear Tire Fine-Ribbed Corrugated Rubber Matting is undoubtedly its traction-enhancing surface pattern. The corrugated rubber is covered in thinly raised grooves, which enhance traction by providing additional points of grip. The unique design of the ribbed rubber flooring also prevents slips by maintaining the driest possible walking surface. The corrugated grooves of the no-slip flooring lead moisture down and away so you will always have a reliable place to step, even when the surface is wet. For this reason, the Fine-Ribbed Corrugated Rubber Matting performs exceptionally well in moisture-prone and outdoor applications, as it prevents slip-and-fall accidents that would otherwise be catastrophic.

|Goodyear Rubber “Fine-Ribbed Corrugated” Rubber Flooring rolls are made from Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE). The finely corrugated surface texture of this floor allows for better traction and grip, making it an ideal non-slip flooring. The corrugated grooves also function well to scrape dirt from shoes and lead moisture away from the walking surface. TPE rubbers are incredibly durable, with better weather resistance, surface grip, and tensile strength when compared to thermoset rubbers. The Goodyear Rubber “Fine-Ribbed Corrugated” rubber flooring is 3.5mm (just over 1/8”) thick, measuring 36” wide and available in a selection of six factory-cut lengths to fit any space. The availability of size variations allows for less waste and an easier installation process.

|Stand Against Falls!
|Falls are common, costly, and dangerous – especially among Americans age 65 and older. But falls are preventable and do not have to be an inevitable part of aging. Thirty million older adults fall each year—resulting in about 30,000 deaths. Each year, 3 million older adults are treated for a fall injury. One out of every five causes a serious injury, such as broken bones or a head injury. Each year at least 300,000 older people are hospitalized for hip fractures. Most fall-related injuries, especially those that occur at home, happen from flat ground. If a portion of the above is due to slippery floors, then rubber flooring will help reduce these unnecessary injuries by preventing slip-and-fall accidents. TPE rubber flooring is the ideal non-slip surfacing thanks to its high coefficient of friction and traction-enhancing surface texture. Install this rubber flooring over slippery sub-floors or in moisture-prone areas to prevent slips and reduce the risk of injury.
|Ease of Installation
|These rolls are heavy enough that they stay down under their own weight. However, if the installation is in a high traffic area such as a public location, then these 36” wide rubber rolls can be installed using a double-side tape. This makes for a rubber roll that can be deployed in a slippery area quickly and easily for on-demand slip-prevention. In addition, this product is easy to remove in the case of temporary applications, as there is no permanent adhesive used in the installation of the mats. This product is sold in the form of rubber mats that measure 36” wide and are available in a selection of six pre-cut lengths to make purchasing easy and installation simple. Since we offer this product in multiple lengths, installers have less to do onsite.
|TPE Rubber flooring is non-permeable and easy to clean with most mild cleaning solutions. The finely corrugated ribs of this flooring enhance traction and lead moisture away from the walking surface to prevent slips, even when the surface is wet. The “Fine Ribbed Corrugated” rubber also works well to scrape mud and moisture from shoes, making it ideal for high-traffic pathways and commercial entryways.
|Garage & Auto:
|TPE Rubber is ideal for garage or basement floorings because it is impervious to moisture, offers moderate chemical resistance, and can be easily cleaned with most mild household cleaning solutions. The solid, non-permeable surface of the TPE rubber ensures no moisture can enter the material, so it will never develop rot, mildew or mold. The fine-rib surface prevents slips and leads moisture away to provide a secure walking surface at all times. TPE rubber matting is perfect for non-slip applications that are exposed to moisture, chemicals, or outdoor conditions. The “Fine-Ribbed Corrugated” rubber flooring rolls are ideal for home and commercial garages, as well as designating outdoor walkways and lining trailers and truck-beds.
|Because this TPE floor mats offers moderate chemical resistance, it can be cleaned with most common household cleaners. It is recommended to avoid using strong, caustic cleaners such as bleach to prevent damage to the material.
|“Fine-Ribbed Corrugated” Rubber Flooring is always in stock, and will generally ship the same day.
