Rubber-Cal’s interlocking Puzzle-Lock tiles will make an appearance on an upcoming episode of HGTV’s series, “Designed to Sell.”
“Designed to Sell” is a weekly series on HGTV featuring a team of hosts, designers, and contractors transforming tired, dated homes into hot items on the real estate market. The only catch is: the team has a budget of $2,000!
The episode, “A Contemporary Makeover in the Living Room, Master Bathroom and Exercise Room,” airs June 3, 2009 and follows Chuck Thornton as he attempts to sell his home in North Potomac, Maryland to be closer to his job in Washington D.C. The “Designed to Sell” Team, led by famed celebrity designer, Taniya Nayak, descended upon Chuck’s home and decided to work with three vital areas, the living room, the master bathroom, and the exercise room, giving them am updated look and feel that will add something new to each space while simultaneously raising the value of the house.
When it came time to pick a flooring option for the exercise room that is easy to install, easy to clean, affordable, and aesthetically pleasing, the choice was easy: Rubber-Cal’s Puzzle-Lock interlocking tiles.
The Designed to Sell Team decided that Puzzle-Lock interlocking tiles would be a perfect choice for the exercise room, an area that sees lots of abrasion and impact from exercise equipment. Furthermore, the team found the Puzzle-Lock interlocking tiles to be well within their price range. While there are no guarantees that Chuck will sell his house in this market, one thing is certain: Chuck will sleep better at night knowing that his work-out room is safe from the dangers of habitual exercise, and it will continue looking great for years to come.
